I will have my birthday soon and this year it was supposed to be a special one to remember. I planned to go "home" and celebrate this special birthday with my siblings, and I booked my air ticket. Unfortunately with my dad's illness I had to go home earlier. A month at "home" providing me the opportunity to observe the discord among the siblings, I felt the lethargy and the sense of going no where, I am sorry, but am glad that I changed my mind about going "home" again. It means forfeiting my air ticket, but it prevents me from broken dream,and painful heartache.

I am naive, I lived in the past, in the time when we were all children. Many things have happened those passing years, people changed, value differs..and I was still dreaming of the good old days where we were united as one, fighting the invaders from another family....Those were the days , the bygone days..and I must not lingered...

I am spending my birthday, my special birthday , not with my sibling, not with my children (they are too busy to make a fuss of their old mum)I could have spent it with my faithful male companion, instead I chose not to; instead I am going to spend my birthday with a total stranger whose name is Karen. We are going down south,to cold crispy air, drinking good wine, eating nice meal ,visit all the art and craft stall; and walking the beach. Sometimes the company of stranger is better because you do not have expection, and you don't get dissappointed.
